A+ Scholarship—Webster University

Awarded to first-time freshmen who A) graduate from an A+ high school, as certified by the state of Missouri, B) have completed the requirements of the program, and C) are certified by their high school to receive the A+ Scholarship offered by the state of Missouri. The award level is based on the applicant’s cumulative grade point average, class rank, and ACT or SAT scores. In addition to the A+ certification, a minimum ACT of 21 or SAT of 1500 is required. This is a Webster University award. The A+ award offered by the state of Missouri may only be used at Missouri public community colleges.

Affton High School Scholarship

Awarded to an incoming freshman from Affton High School who has at least a 3.4 cumulative G.P.A. on a 4.0 scale, has an ACT composite score of 24 or above or an SAT combined score of 1650 or above, and ranks in the top 20% of his or her high school graduating class. A recommendation from the high school principal and/or guidance counselor should be submitted with scholarship application.

Bishop DuBourg High School Scholarship

In association with the Renaissance program at Bishop DuBourg, this scholarship will be awarded to an incoming freshman who has maintained a 4.0 cumulative G.P.A. Other graduating seniors from DuBourg who have maintained a cumulative G.P.A. of at least 3.4, rank in the top 20% of their class, and have a minimum ACT of 24 or SAT composite of 1650 will be considered as well. A recommendation from the high school principal and/or guidance counselor should be submitted with scholarship application.

Boys’ State

Awarded to incoming freshmen who have participated in Boys’ State and have maintained a 3.0 G.P.A., rank in the top 33% of their high school class, and have an ACT of 22 or SAT of 1530 or higher.

European Travel Scholarship

Effective for first-time entering freshmen, Webster University-sponsored airfare for travel to any of Webster’s overseas locations will be available for study after four continuous semesters of enrollment and can be used during a student’s junior or senior year. Recipients must be continuously enrolled, degree-seeking, and in good academic standing.

Ferguson-Florissant School District Scholarship

Awarded to an incoming freshman from the Ferguson-Florissant School District who has at least a 3.4 cumulative G.P.A. on a 4.0 scale, has an ACT composite score of 24 or above or an SAT combined score of 1650 or above, and ranks in the top 20% of his or her high school graduating class. A recommendation from the high school principal and/or guidance counselor should be submitted with the scholarship application.

Consuelo E. Gallagher Spanish Scholarship

Awarded to an incoming freshman or transfer student majoring in Spanish at Webster’s St. Louis campus. Freshman applicants must have a cumulative high school grade point average of 3.3 or higher and have successfully completed a minimum of two years of Spanish coursework at the high school level. A letter of recommendation from high school Spanish teacher is required and must be attached to this application at the time of submission. Transfer applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.3 or higher from all college coursework previously attempted and have successfully completed a minimum of 4 semesters of college-level Spanish coursework. A letter of recommendation from Spanish professor is required and must be attached to this application at the time of submission.

James R. Gallagher German Scholarship

Awarded to an incoming freshman or transfer student majoring in German at Webster’s St. Louis campus. Freshman applicants must have a cumulative high school grade point average of 3.3 or higher and have successfully completed a minimum of two years of German coursework at the high school level. A letter of recommendation from high school German teacher is required and must be attached to this application at the time of submission. Leadership Scholarship

Awarded to freshmen with a minimum 3.3 G.P.A., ACT score of 24 or SAT of 1650. Applicants must document extracurricular activities and leadership involvement. Awards are renewable based on the following criteria (separate application required):

  1. Participation in leadership workshop at the beginning of each year and enrollment in the Student Leadership Development Program to pursue a Leadership Certificate;
  2. Membership and involvement in at least one club (flexible with off-campus involvement in church or other community service);
  3. Involvement in planning at least one club event;
  4. Maintenance of a minimum of 3.0 cumulative G.P.A.; maximum award of eight consecutive semesters.

Midwest Student Exchange Program

The Midwest Student Exchange Program enables residents of Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, and North Dakota to enroll at Webster University at reduced tuition levels. Eligible MSEP students attending Webster University will receive a 10 percent reduction in their tuition.

Daniel Webster Scholarship
