Webster University is pleased to announce The Alumni Legacy Scholarship, a $1,000 award being offered to the dependent sons and/or daughters of Webster University Alumni worldwide. This award applies to new, first-time freshmen who will be enrolled as full-time, degree-seeking students at the home campus in St. Louis, Missouri for the 2010-11 academic year. The Legacy Scholarship is automatically renewable for a maximum of four years and can be stacked with all other Webster-funded scholarships, with the exception of the full-tuition Presidential award. Although a separate application is not required, applicants must provide the name of the qualifying parent in the space provided on the Application for Admission or on the Webster Common Application Supplement.

Awarded to first-time freshmen with a minimum 3.0 GPA and a 23 ACT score or 1600 SAT. Actual scholarship amount is based on comparative index. Accepted applicants for admission are automatically reviewed for Webster Academic Scholarship consideration and are notified within 10-14 days after receiving their admission decision.
Awarded to first-time freshmen who A) graduate from an A+ high school, as certified by the state of Missouri, B) have completed the requirements of the program, and C) are certified by their high school to receive the A+ Scholarship offered by the state of Missouri. The award level is based on the applicant’s cumulative grade point average, class rank, and ACT or SAT scores. In addition to the A+ certification, a minimum ACT of 21 or SAT of 1500 is required. This is a Webster University award. The A+ award offered by the state of Missouri may only be used at Missouri public community colleges.
Awarded to an incoming freshman from Affton High School who has at least a 3.6 cumulative G.P.A. on a 4.0 scale, has an ACT composite score of 24 or above or an SAT combined score of 1650 or above, and ranks in the top 20% of his or her high school graduating class. A recommendation from the high school principal and/or guidance counselor should be submitted with scholarship application.
In association with the Renaissance program at Bishop DuBourg, this scholarship will be awarded to an incoming freshman who has maintained a 4.0 cumulative G.P.A. Other graduating seniors from DuBourg who have maintained a cumulative G.P.A. of at least 3.6, rank in the top 20% of their class, and have a minimum ACT of 24 or SAT composite of 1650 will be considered as well. A recommendation from the high school principal and/or guidance counselor should be submitted with scholarship application.
Awarded to incoming freshmen who have participated in Boys’ State and have maintained a 3.0 G.P.A., rank in the top 33% of their high school class, and have an ACT of 22 or SAT of 1530 or higher.
Effective for first-time entering freshmen, Webster University-sponsored airfare for travel to any of Webster’s overseas locations will be available for study after four continuous semesters of enrollment and can be used during a student’s junior or senior year. Recipients must be continuously enrolled, degree-seeking, and in good academic standing.
Awarded to an incoming freshman from the Ferguson-Florissant School District who has at least a 3.6 cumulative G.P.A. on a 4.0 scale, has an ACT composite score of 24 or above or an SAT combined score of 1650 or above, and ranks in the top 20% of his or her high school graduating class. A recommendation from the high school principal and/or guidance counselor should be submitted with the scholarship application.
Awarded to incoming freshmen who have participated in Girls’ State and have maintained a 3.0 G.P.A., rank in the top 33% of their high school class, and have an ACT of 22 or SAT of 1530 or higher.
Awarded to an incoming freshman from the Hazelwood School District who has at least a 3.6 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale (through seventh semester), has an ACT composite score of 24 or above or an SAT combined score of 1650 or above, and ranks in the top 20% of his or her graduating class.
Students graduating from a high school with a significant underrepresented population are eligible to apply. In addition, applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 and demonstrate a high level of financial need, based on information contained in their Student Aid Report (FAFSA).
Awarded to an incoming freshman from John F. Kennedy High School who has at least a 3.6 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale (through seventh semester), has an ACT composite score of 24 or above or an SAT combined score of 1650 or above, and ranks in the top 20% of his or her graduating class.
Awarded to an incoming freshman from Kirkwood High School who has at least a 3.6 cumulative G.P.A. on a 4.0 scale, has an ACT composite score of 24 or above or an SAT combined score of 1650 or above, and ranks in the top 20% of his or her high school graduating class. A recommendation from the high school principal and/or guidance counselor should be submitted with scholarship application.
Awarded to freshmen with a minimum 3.3 G.P.A., ACT score of 24 or SAT of 1650. Applicants must document extracurricular activities and leadership involvement. Awards are renewable based on the following criteria (separate application required):
Awarded to an incoming freshman from Lindbergh High School who has at least a 3.6 cumulative G.P.A. on a 4.0 scale, has an ACT composite score of 24 or above or an SAT combined score of 1650 or above, and ranks in the top 20% of his or her high school graduating class. A recommendation from the high school principal and/or guidance counselor should be submitted with scholarship application.
Awarded to an incoming freshman from the Mehlville School District who has at least a 3.6 cumulative G.P.A. on a 4.0 scale, has an ACT composite score of 24 or above or an SAT combined score of 1650 or above, and ranks in the top 20% of their senior class. A recommendation from the high school principal and/or guidance counselor should be submitted with the scholarship application.
The Midwest Student Exchange Program enables residents of Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and Wisconsin to enroll at Webster University at reduced tuition levels. Eligible MSEP students attending Webster University will receive a 10 percent reduction in their tuition.
Awarded to an incoming freshman from Nerinx Hall who has at least a 3.6 cumulative G.P.A. on a 4.0 scale, has an ACT composite score of 24 or above or an SAT combined score of 1650 or above, and ranks in the top 20% of her high school graduating class. A recommendation from the high school principal and/or guidance counselor should be submitted with scholarship application.
Awarded to an incoming freshman from Parkway School District who has at least a 3.6 cumulative Grade Point Average on a 4.0 scale (through seventh semester), has an ACT composite score of 24 or above or an SAT combined score of 1650 or above, and ranks in the top 20% of his or her graduating class.
Awarded to an incoming freshman from Pattonville High School who has at least a 3.6 cumulative G.P.A. on a 4.0 scale, ranks in the top 20% of their senior class, and has attained an ACT composite score of 24 or an SAT of 1650. A recommendation should be submitted by the high school principal and/or guidance counselor with scholarship application.
Awarded to an incoming freshman from the Rockwood School District who has at least a 3.6 cumulative G.P.A. on a 4.0 scale, has an ACT composite score of 24 or above or an SAT combined score of 1650 or above, and ranks in the top 20% of his or her high school graduating class. A recommendation from the high school principal and/or guidance counselor should be submitted with scholarship application.
Awarded to an incoming freshman enrolled in the St. Louis Public School District who has at least a 3.6 cumulative G.P.A. on a 4.0 scale, ranks in the top 20% of their senior class, and has attained an ACT composite score of 24 or an SAT of 1650. A recommendation from the high school principal and/or guidance counselor should be submitted with the scholarship application.
Awarded to an incoming freshman from St. John Vianney High School who has maintained a 4.1 cumulative GPA and has achieved a minimum ACT composite of 24 or an SAT composite of 1650. A letter of recommendation from the principal must be
submitted with your scholarship application.
Awarded to an incoming freshman from Webster Groves High School who has at least a 3.6 cumulative G.P.A. on a 4.0 scale, has an ACT composite score of 24 or above or an SAT combined score of 1650 or above, and ranks in the top 20% of his or her high school graduating class. A recommendation from the high school principal and/or guidance counselor should be submitted with scholarship application.
