Founded in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1915 by the Sisters of Loretto, Webster University enjoys a rich tradition of academic excellence at its family of 100 campuses worldwide. Noted for their pioneering approach to making high quality education accessible to students from all walks of life, the Sisters of Loretto also established a mission in nearby Santa Fe in 1852.
Webster University has served the residents and military personnel of Albuquerque since 1977, when we started our first graduate program at Kirtland Air Force Base. The program’s rapid growth led to the establishment of our Albuquerque Metropolitan Campus in 1985 to serve the growing numbers of civilian and military students in the surrounding communities and beyond who wish to pursue graduate studies to advance their careers and promote their professional development.
