Webster University has provided outstanding higher education to the Chicago area since 1974 when we started our graduate program at Fort Sheridan. A year later, we opened another location at Great Lakes Naval Base, which continues to serve military personnel and civilians in the area.
To better serve the growing Chicago area, Webster opened a metropolitan campus in Crystal Lake in 1996. The Crystal Lake campus moved to Elgin in 2007.
Traditional classroom courses meet one evening per week from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. or on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and are open to working professionals from area businesses, industries, health care organizations, and government agencies. The campus offers students modern classrooms and state-of-the-art computer labs.
