Vienna Campus

Webster University Vienna was founded in 1981 at the invitation of the mayor to serve the international English-speaking community. The campus currently enrolls nearly 500 students from 60 nations and has a distinguished international faculty representing more than 20 nations. Webster Vienna introduced the first accredited M.B.A. program in Austria in 1985.

Vienna is not only one of the world's greatest cultural centers, renowned for its music, opera, theatre, and art, but it is also a dynamic venue for international organizations. Webster's Vienna campus, a modern facility on the banks of the Danube River, is located near the Vienna International Center, home to the UN, the UNODC, the IAEA, UNIDO and the CTBTO. Student Council activities, guest lectures, career development activities and cultural events support and enrich the classroom experience.

In addition to its U.S. accreditation through the Higher Learning Commissions (HLC), Webster Vienna has the distinction of being among the first private universities in Austria to be accredited by the Austrian Ministry of Science and Education (bm:bwk) under new private university law of 2001.  In addition, Webster's business programs enjoy accreditation of the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA).
