The early childhood area of concentration emphasizes respect for each and every child and embraces the concept that all children can learn. Students focus on practical application of theory and the best practices in the field. Students are exposed to various strategies and methods to enhance not only their ability as teachers, but to enable them to become learners and observers of children. Many students comment that what they learn easily transfers to their classrooms, making them more effective teachers and professionals in the field.
