Environmental Management

imageWebster University's Master of Science (M.S.) in Environmental Management provides current and aspiring environmental managers with the tools and techniques to navigate the business aspects of environmental management.

Upon completion of the program, students will be able to:

  • understand the important terminology, facts, concepts, principles, and theories used in the environmental management field;
  • manage environmental-related risk;
  • conduct an environmental audit;
  • hire technically skilled employees and consultants;
  • research and analyze environmental regulations;
  • make sound management decisions based on environmental and scientific data; and
  • conduct environmental research.

The only prerequisite for the program is a bachelor's degree. Students acquire the business and administrative skills necessary to work at all levels in this viatal field: to make sound business, ethical and legal decisions, and to interpret and communicate environmental rules and regulations.

In addition to our traditional classroom format, Webster's M.S. in Environmental Management program is available online for maximum flexibility and convenience. For more information visit Webster's WorldClassRoom.

"Webster University’s online program in Environmental Management offers environmental managers the same high-quality graduate program previously available only in the classroom at our Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo., and Little Rock, Ark., campuses," said Ralph Southard, director of Webster University's Fort Leonard Wood campus. "We designed the course work to give environmental managers the knowledge they need to make sound business, ethical, and legal decisions in a vitally important field. And the fact that all classes are conducted online means students can continue working while they learn-wherever they live."
