That shortage will continue to increase dramatically as 2 million of Missouri’s 2.6 million administrators are expected to retire in the next five years. To respond to this need, Webster University offers the graduate-level educational specialist degree (Ed.S.) to prepare students for educational leadership positions of tomorrow. It can be earned in 33 credit hours and in two and a half years if you attend one class per term.
The Ed.S. is offered with two areas of emphasis: educational leadership and school systems superintendency and leadership.
The Ed.S. programs are perfect for individuals to earn an advanced degree while preparing for the state assessment. Coursework, research, and internship experiences will prepare you for positions of greater responsibility and influence. The program will build on your teaching, curriculum, and support services background and trains you to focus on the broader view of becoming an educational leader in your community.
