The Webster campus sits in the historic city center on a picturesque canal with most of the student housing a short walk or bike ride from campus. Nearby Leiden University, which has nearly 20,000 students and staff, gives this cozy college town of 115,000 inhabitants a youthful, international flair.

Despite its small geographic size, the Netherlands is a big player in the global economy and is the fourth-largest direct investor in the United States. With some classes at the Amsterdam World Trade Center, Webster-Leiden is able to attract faculty and speakers from some of the biggest multinational corporations.

In addition to your coursework during your 9-week stay in Leiden, you'll have the opportunity to visit corporate sites and speak with corporate executives of some of the region's largest multinational corporations. In 2008, for example, Webster University Global MBA students had the opportunity to visit Tommy Hilfiger, Nike, Heineken, Euronext Amsterdam, The Hague and Starbucks.
